Kate Woolley
Following the completion of a Masters Degree at Birmingham University, Kate joined the Audit Commission in 1991, where she developed and delivered national Value for Money Projects across Local Government and Health. Later, specialising in health, Kate acted as a key change agent both within the Audit Commission and with their clients, particularly at Board Level. She has also worked with the Hungarian State Audit Office to help them develop their own national health programmes.
A pragmatist, Kate left the Audit Commission in August 2000 to become an Executive Director of Performance Management and Assistant Chief Executive of Warwickshire Health Authority, leading the Health Authority through a period of considerable upheaval and uncertainty while restoring financial and operational balance. More recently as one of Denison Williams’s lead consultants, Kate has provided support and advice to the Ministry of Defence, working with senior managers in group and individual situations, to address performance management and improvement issues.
Also a Director of her own company, Kate’s interests are in achieving high impact business results with a range of clients, primarily across public sector organisations.
